You can use a 5 speed from a 4.2 v6 F150. If you use the 5 speed you will need a tune. The computer will be looking for the auto.

Re: looking to do a 302 swap. Get a T-5 transmission, And, its fairly simple to do, You'll need new motor mounts, of course. So that in itself keeps it from being a straight across bolt up swap. Not sure about videos, Engine swaps are time consuming so I'm not sure if they would make a video for that.
